Invincible / Niezwyciężona

The time has now come to face the blood
In front of Lady Justice in Roger Williams’ land
To look the blood straight in the eye without blinking
Acting on the moral imperative to honor the ancestral values
To restore social justice and to protect the elderly from exploitation
And to ensure that last/testamentary wishes are honored
Holy Spirit guide me now knowing that “With God, all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26)

She Quietly / Ona cicho

She quietly exited his life for a brief moment
To find herself in the arms of Mother Nature
To hug and kiss a tree and to listen
To the droplets of water hitting the rocks
To return knowing that she loves him so much
That it could make her head spin, but she will persevere
As his rock of Gibraltar even when she needs to ask him
Difficult questions when he is unsure about what’s clear to her
For they are different – originating from different continents and cultures
Seemingly separated by ethnicity and race
But united in their common egalitarian approach to life
And love so deep that it’s beyond conceptual understanding
